I tell you what it is getting harder and harder to watch football the way the games are being officiated. I have said it before and I will say it again they are ruining the game we all love. I just find it hard to believe that nothing can be done about it, and we are just expected to accept it for what it is.

Man, after watching this game and the Rams game.... something has to be done about officiating. Ran down this rabbit hole too...

The author is correct normally the referee is assigned the QB, and the umpire is GCG. Maybe the U thought it fell into his line of vision, but normally the two officials should make eye contact and nod or pull at the flag to indicate the penalty before tossing the hanky.

There were lots of bad calls this week.
