A couple of quick thoughts.

Gotta give props to Les for managing our draft position. He managed to close the rather large gap in between our picks by trading down at minimal cost (i.e. we didn't lose out on a Bobby Wagner-type this time) while filling potential voids in the draft process. Wonderfully done.

If there is one thing that can get in the way of completing our next true "run," (aside from Sean retiring) it is ego. I wasn't a fan of how Les handled a recent interview of both he and Sean. I have never seen him come across as so "smug" before. I truly hope it's an overacion from afar on my part. Keep it humble, Les, and stick together with Sean to build for another run.

I honestly think we are in great hands. Just gotta keep the egos in check.

I noted the smugness too. Figure that is a good sign for us, means things fell the way he said they would, which in turn means it is unlikely he has an unhappy coach on his hands.

It's a good thing I think. Nothing wrong with a victory lap in front of the media when things go according to plan. Let's hope he looks the same way after tomorrow.

Nah, Sneed is fine.

His only misstep was not answering a question on a draftees musical talent in the manner that the reporter wanted him to. She's a good reporter and was looking for a unique story line. Nothing wrong with that but if anything she should learn to read the room and the situation a little better.

Sneed was definitely excited about how well the draft was going. Nothing wrong with that.
