Just started listening, but he's saying interesting things about Jameis Winston and character concerns.

-"I think continuity is overrated."

-"If this guy going to help us score more points 3 years from now."

-"Figure out if there's someone you want to develop."

-"Trades, cut, etc."

Chances on Sam coming back.

-"Key is proper rehab. Guys who have had multiple ACLs and come back to play. Can't predict what will happen. Have to be prudent."

Trading in Draft.

"Option has to be explored for trading up for a QB."

"As you get into year 3 with young team, strengths of weaknesses of team, roles become clear. Easier to ID what do you need to help team."

"If player really tilts field, look hard at it." - speaking of like an Aaron Donald type again. Maybe even another position.

Offensive Line

"Fisher likes to be strong on both lines. Formula to winning."

"FA is one option, see who is available."

"Talented players in draft. More and more rookies starting. (Growing paints.)"

Growing Pains

"In year 4, guys growing up should have no more growing pains."

"Year 2, 3, have to become the vets, because rookie with have pains regardless of year in regime."

Evaluating Guys You Like

"Doesn't want to life through THOSE Mondays anymore."

"Doesn't mean demoting guy. Maybe a new role."

"Goal is to improve."

Winston

"Kid has been blessed on the field. Instincts too."

"If anyone has concerns, brought on by indv."

"Case by case, look at concerns. Biggest thing/hardest thing, as this kid matures, are those concerns going to be reoccurring or eliminated with maturity. Figuring it out is secret to success."

"Hold QBs to a higher standard." - speaking on comparison to Janoris issues

"At the end of the day, we're going to be talking about guys based on their intangibles and how they approach the league."

"Don't think we're one QB away. Having a starting caliber QB and however you want to tier him, starting QBs stay healthy and play week in and week out and show up in the W/L column."

That was about the brunt of it. If anyone else has something better, post it.

Snead is a straight shooter. No bs in his answers. I think that's commendable.

It sounds as though Snead isn't counting on Sam.
It think most are at the point where we have come to terms with it.

I don't know if any of us are COUNTING on Sam per se... but going with him at least one more year seems to be the best option we have right now.

I don't know if a 2nd round QB last year would have changed that either.

I don't think any qb would have had much success behind our oline this year.
A healthy, reliable Bradford would be incredible. I just can't get my hopes up for that option at the moment.
Man, I would love it if he could come back 100% healthy next year. We would be in very good shape to make a run at the division. With a shiny new oline of course.

I disagree. I don't think either would have looked like worldbeaters behind our line.
If carr would have gotten the job when our line was decent before long got hurt I don't think Hill would have ever seen the field after game 1 and he would have shown enough to be qb next season imo
