We have been patient.Lord knows we have been patient; but the arrow is pointing up.
We all have our opinions of Fisher. Some good, maybe more not so good.
Regardless of how you feel about our coach the arrow is pointing upwards. Why?
Because for the first time that I can remember we have a man in charge of the
personnel who has a plan,Is following that plan and has the talent to execute said plan.
Has he been perfect?Nope.I challenge you to find one who is.But what Les Snead has
done and is continuing to do is methodically take a heaping pile of manure and turning it
into a team that we can all be proud of.He is supplying the parts. What Fisher does with
it is anybody's guess.
People are starting to take notice.Check out this video at approx 1:12.Words I never
thought I would hear from Dukes.Lock him up Demoff. We could do a lot worse.

Dittos. I've written a couple times that I hope Snead stays if Fisher can't get it done and gets fired.

IMO Snead has gotten better as a GM every year. He started off swinging for the fences on nearly every pick. Now he has balanced that taking fewer home run swings and mixing in guys who had alot of starts in college at top programs. He definitely hit on 4 of 6 first rounders and the arrow is pointing up for Robinson and Austin.

I don't think he will admit guys like Quick and Pead were a mistake, but he sure doesn't make the same mistake twice. Second rounders since then have been Joyner and Havenstein. Big Hav certainly is not the most athletic guy, but he had plenty of college experience and just knows how to play the game, no surprise he was our most consistent OL right away. Joyner coming off a decorated college has improved every year and could really take off this year.

I want Goff to start as soon as he is ready and my impatience for a playoff season hopes that's Week One. If he doesn't start Week One, despite the incredible pressure by the outside world on Fish, this will tell me that Fisher is so secure to not give into the pressure and to give the rookie time...or...he thinks Goff is so bad that even Case Keenum gives him a better chance to win immediately, which would be very bad news indeed, if so.

Gentlemen easy does here on Snead, I like him too, however, Fisher has final say on personnel, now albeit IMO, he gives Snead plenty of liberty, but some of those UDRFA's that have been signed like Benny Cunningham were all Jeff Fisher so let's keep that in mind.

Having the final say or overseeing personnel decisions is one thing.Scouring the country looking under rocks
for talent and orchestrating trades is another. While I understand Jeff has a part in this.To say he is responsible
for finding UDFA's is maybe giving Jeff a little more credit than he warrants.
That being said,I probably didnt give Jeff enough credit in my O.P. for some of the personnel decisions
that have been made. It's my guess that being a head coach of a football team leaves him little time
to be scouting for possible talent. While he may sign off on decisions I don't believe that he is the person
putting in the long hours necessary to make some of the excellent decisions that have been made.
However it breaks down,I'm pleased with the direction we seem to be taking.there's alot of
young talent on this team. Were due.Go Rams!

So your saying since Robert Quinn, Todd Gurley, or Aaron Donald didn't start game one after being drafted that was bad news?

Goff will start when it's to his advantage to start and I'm ok with that be it him being a rookie. Either way if we get things rolling he'll have enough steam for the post season!

How do you know they were all Jeff Fisher? How does anyone really know except maybe Jeff and Snead.

I know that Benny Cunningham was all Jeff Fisher because Fisher spoke how he watched him in his off year at Middle Tennessee and I know that Fisher has total autonomy over personnel so every decision Snead has made has been with Fisher's blessing at the very minimum.

Now I believe it's a joint effort and I love what Snead brings to the table and Snead has brought most of his guys that oversee pro player personnel a department that was non existent until this regime, but if we are going to praise Snead, we have to give Fisher some credit in that area too and maybe Fisher is now a better personnel man then a Head Coach, but I feel this year will get him back on track.

Well, I know for fact Cunningham was all Fisher and Fisher does quite a bid of film work when the season is over, that is where he first watched Goff as a Freshman and was quite impressed...Again stated and written about when him and his son Brandon (DB Coach) where scouting defensive backs.

Oh yeah, one other tidbit, Fisher hired Snead.

I think the term "Snisher" exists for a reason. They work well together. I'm just glad we don't have one of those squishy, spineless owners that would have fired Fisher after three years, "like he was supposed to do" because I think his patience, and resolve will pay off.

We have read a lot of articles that we know have information that's incorrect

He saw film but who gave him the film? No way he was just looking through players and he found out about Bam Bam all by himself. It's more Snead and his scouts then Fisher. He has the final say but in my opinion Fisher picks his staff and let's them do their thing. Just my opinion as I stated before because nobody really know except Fisher and Snead.

He didn't on Cunningham, he watched him at Middle Tennesse during his off year in 2011 so there is no way that Snead had any responsibility for Cunningham, that was all Fisher. I'm not trying to discount what Snead has done, I'm just trying to point out that Fisher has had a heavy hand in personnel the paradigm that ESK used was New England and do you thing Belichick has a hand in the personnel there?

I'm also not saying that Fisher doesn't have the last work because he does. He has 100% control over the team. What I'm saying is in my opinion when it comes to researching and finding the players it's Snead and his scouting staff doing the majority of work. If Fisher gets fired I pray we keep Snead he's a great GM in my opinion.

And I don't disagree about Snead, but great GM's make great Head Coaching hires and we don't know how Snead will do in that area. But if Fisher does get fired I would be fine for keeping Les Snead as long as if that is the case, he hires David Shaw.

I wish Fisher would step down but stay with the team like in some made up position like team president where he can be in charge but not HC. Then hire a offense HC that way we can keep Williams as a DC. I know the chances of that happening are zero but I can still dream. Good point about the GM Snead hiring the next HC. Didn't think about that.
