-Biggest split at RB this season

-What the hell is going on with these TEs? Is it matchups or performance? Was Allen injured?

- Barely any rest for Kupp. Slight dip for Robinson

-No Witherspoon

-Increase for Fiske

-Looks like heavier use of DL overall

-Hampton gets a few snaps, B.Jackson inactive

Last week's broadcasters said that they were told that Robinson was the best vs. man to man coverage.
This week's broadcasters stated that what he does best is separate.

If both are true shouldn't his snaps increase while maybe Kupp's snaps decrease? Happy for the win, but I'm just wondering if Stafford possibly locking on to Kupp may be hurting the offense at times like when Josh Allen would lock on to Diggs. Heard something similar during the Panthers vs. Bucs game. They put up something showing that Baker Mayfield played better when Mike Evans was out.

Kupp has been great but is clearly slowing down. 6 targets and 17 yards total reminds me of Fitz in his last couple seasons with the cards. His blocking is still good and I'm sure McVay can scheme up some play action to him off of the lead blocks they use him on. He's not being used much on screens anymore and not reliable in 3rd down situations like before.
The Corum/Williams duo should be the Offensive focal point for the final 5 games. Tutu is showing up good on downfield passing when called upon. Higbee is needed as a blocker and 3rd down option for Stafford.

With 7 new starters on defense it’s understandable they are still acclimating as a unit. Would love more at ILB and CB but that will be next year.

I’m going to blame the instability on the OL to the inconsistencies on the offense. I believe yesterday was first game with the best 5 OL in place. Tale of 2 halves but very encouraging 2nd half. Gotta move Stafford around to give him time and I would use DRob and Atwell more but I feel encouraged with the rest of the season (other than BUF who I might mail in to avoid injury as there’s ~3% chance of beating them).

Adding up the tight end plays it seems they only went 12 personnel one time. They had 56 total plays. Tight ends combined for 57. I still think a little more 12 personnel would help the offense protect Stafford better and run the ball.

Maybe Demarcus was not getting open as much and that’s why he went to Tutu’s speed more in the second half?

Robinson isn’t the biggest guy. I think corners could get physical with him. I don’t know how well he recovers from that.

I did see a stat this season showing that he’s one of the leagues best at getting separation. Is that in man or zone? Is that against good corners or does he draw the long straw and plays against the weaker corners?

Both DRob and Atwell seem to only get snaps at the X position. Every week their combined snaps add up to exactly 100% of the offenses snaps.

If Kupp's snaps decrease, we would see more of Whittington or Johnson.

I figured adjustments could be made given McVay stresses that these guys are able to play at each spot.

Another consistent offensive line game and another win.
It looks like Avila is getting back into game shape.
Stafford feeling more comfortable in the pocket because of that.
Run game getting better because of that.
Defense not gassed on the field because of that.

The o line still the most important unit on the field.

I thought a couple times tutu was the motion man tbh that’s his best position imo so I see why he doesn’t play that’s Kupp role.. it was good to see tutu on field more hope it continues

BTW I see you Jackson. Playing all 56 offensive snaps when your injury status was in question all week. :clinkingbeer:
