Whether it's because of injuries, matchup, ability, or design, the defense has moved to more of a nickel/dime defense.- It looks like roughly 19 snaps of 12 personnel.
- It looks like we had two ILBs on the field for roughly 19 snaps.
- We had 3 safties on the field for all but 6 snaps.
And thank God for that! My issue with Shula in the first few weeks is that he insisted on playing the base two ILB alignment for most of the game when neither Reeder or Roseboom represent our best talent.Whether it's because of injuries, matchup, ability, or design, the defense has moved to more of a nickel/dime defense.
Through week 3:
Base-52.5%, Nickel- 37.4%, Dime- 9.1%
Through week 10:
Base-37.5%, Nickel-38.4%, Dime-21.5%
Send Puka a DM broInsane that Atwell is getting so few snaps. If you watch the plays he is in, you can see the impact he has even when the ball is not thrown his way.
Also noticed Nacua giving a tell with his stance on running plays yesterday. Hope the coaches notice this and correct.
The way Parkinson played I imagine he gets a snap bump vs Philly. Hope he takes advantage. The TE role is just begging for someone to step up and take that shit.-Allen still the lead TE, more 12 personnel this week
Pam needs to block with his hands and not his shoulder. Against a better team it will be whiff city. The way Parkinson played I imagine he gets a snap bump vs Philly. Hope he takes advantage. The TE role is just begging for someone to step up and take that shit.
