Sleeper CB Walker works out for Pats and Rams
TFY Draft Insider's Tony Pauline writes that Texas Southern CB Tray Walker is a "late round sleeper" and additionally reports that the prospect worked out for the New England Patriots and St. Louis Rams the past two days.
"Watching the film Walker is an explosive, sudden player who loves to mix it up with opponents," Pauline wrote. "He’s physical and fast but still a bit rough around the edges. Walker needs work on his backpedal but could easily line up as a nickel/dime back in zone packages." The 6-foot-2-plus, 190-pound Walker has the longest arms and largest wingspan of any corner in this class and averaged 4.47s on two forties at his pro day. Walker has visited the Ravens, Chiefs, Raiders, Packers, Seahawks, Dolphins and Falcons. He's going to go earlier than you expect.
