I wonder what the plan is here...Obviously with it being a 2-down position (if that anymore) it isn't of the highest importance...but I wonder if they bring Dunbar back, look for another FA, the draft, or if it's Ray-Ray's to lose.

Thoughts?

Call me crazy but I think Ray Ray is going to be a stud...hope they give him the spot

I would give Armstrong a chance. But I have wondered if Mack could play outside

I do to actually...but I do wonder if he is ready to take that spot over yet.

I like the idea of he and Ogletree being some athletic outside backers going against Vernon Davis and other TEs.

I kinda like letting guys learn on the fly. one thing is for sure, he would definitely add toughness to our d. Love the way he plays with no regard for his body

Good question, but it's right/left, and not a true SLB, although it appears as if Ogletree will continue to get the reps on 3rd downs. I'd be all for the Rams re-signing Dunbar. I think Armstrong may have a future as a contributor in certain packages. I'd like to have a bigger player, or run stuffing player at the spot oppo of Tree, best case scenario.

My opinion is that if we draft a linebacker, it will be in the middle to late rounds. After all the pieces fall, I could see us picking up a FA there.

Well, that was actually a Tim Walton wrinkle...makes me wonder how they go about that this season under Williams.
