Rams 41 vs. Vikings 21

Steven Jackson had a career-high four touchdowns and 166 yards from scrimmage as the St. Louis Rams throttled the Minnesota Vikings 41-21.

With his team leading 34-7 early in the fourth quarter, Jackson raced up the left sideline for a 59-yard score.

[hil]That prevented Minnesota from establishing a post-merger NFL record for fewest rushing yards allowed in a season. They missed by 15 yards the mark of 970 set by the Ravens in 2000.[/hil]

Marc Bulger completed 19-of-30 passes for 248 yards and one touchdown for the 8-8 Rams. Vikings Tarvaris Jackson threw one touchdown but also had two interceptions, with one returned 38 yards by Ronald Bartell for a Rams score.

Minnesota finished 6-10.
