Completely leaving money and contracts out of the equation, I'd say yes. None of us know how Quick will recover from his injury, how soon he'll recover, of if he'll even be the same player he was starting to become. Any chance this Organization has to add a player of that talent, they should take.

Exactly my thoughts upon reading.. I don't believe he has any other issues noted to just cut him either i.e. beating a wife etc.. They'll trade him if anything. I will say this though, the Dolphins used two 3rd's to get him from the Broncos, and the Bears 2 Fourths to get him from the Dolphins, I'd give two 5th's or one 5th for him in a heartbeat. Dude still has at the very least 2-4 good productive, dominate years in him. If we could ever get a QB, C, G, and an OC *cough* Mike Martz *cough* we'd be a hell of a team to be reckoned with.

He'd be an instant upgrade to the team so yeah I'd do it for a 2-year show me deal. He'll be 31 in March, but he can still play at a pro bowl level. I agree with flv and Corbin; I don't see why the bears would cut him other than for the money.

Seeing the benefits that the young Kenny Britt brought to this youthful receiving corp, I can only imagine what Marshall could team them. I would be surprised if he was released though.

Hell yeah! I'd love us to have Brandon Marshall one side- Brian Quick the other - Kenny Britt competing all over along with Tavon Austin switching it up to cause mismatch hell and Studman Bailey in the slot. I'd even go 5 wideouts to spread them out/get them in the dime and then audible Tavon Austin into the backfield. Nows the perfect time to do it getting a new OC in.

As long as he wears NOTHING that appeared in Doctor Detroit... or from the Steve Harvey Collection (I'm sorry, man... just too many dang buttons. If you have that many buttons on your jacket, you need to be a Drum Major or a robot), then Quick should be good.

Quick is a serious concern for me.
The reports I read said his shoulder was in very bad shape.

Same thing I heard/read. Fall on it wrong one time, and then he's out for an extended period again.

A least we know he's not a bust. He was playing great last year.
I sure hope he can get back on the field to continue where he left off. I don't want him to rush it though. I want Quick in horns for many years.

As do I. I just think that his return will be gradual, and he might even get a late start.
