As I mentioned before, I cant watch a Rams game with people who arent fans. Had 3 people here for the party but they left at halftime since 2 of them work 3rd shift. Midway thru the 3rd q I was well on my way to a good buzz, and people I know kept texting me asking if I was partying, and they came over. Some brought food, some brought booze, some brought mary jane. It turned into an epic house party that ended around 3 this morning.

I had close friends and family with me. My son was rhe only other Rams fan, but everyone was pulling HARD for the Rams last night. Many tears were shed. It was perfect.

Missus was at work, I had the house to myself.

At my best friend's house we had some pizza, a few wings, couple beers, and a raspberry-strawberry-blueberry tart for desert. Tried this amazing dip (with chips) called Bitchin'. Good mild spicy made with almonds etc....

He's a longtime Viking fan and also there was his longtime GF who is a "this year Cardinal fan" (since her daughter was an ex-cheerleader), and their lady friend who is a long time a Bear fan. The Bear fan was cheering for Rams with me, she loves Stafford and Miller. She laughed at almost every commercial. Card fan was loudly cheering every Bengal's big play, voiced her dislike for Cooper (because he's so unstoppable...heh). My BF was leaning a little to Rams and when he said something pro Rams she would give him a little shit and then he'd say sorry honey, and we'd laugh. He also pointed to a shot of O'Connell and said "There's our future head coach." I cheered loudly at every Rams play. Offered my usual trivia where the ladies were saying "really?" Was fun to stand up with the final shout of victory at the end! Both ladies were touched seeing Donald in tears at the end so his GF was then okay with the Rams winning. I wore my Donald away jersey.

I left when the station went to the olympics. Went home and watched Jake's show and some press conferences till midnight.

It was only my daughter, girlfriend and I watching the game. Dogs were in the kennel because they get spooked when I’m screaming. Girlfriend has always been my lucky charm when it comes to Rams games and my kid has been seriously considering becoming a fan (she grew up a broncos fan because she liked horses as a kid, lol). My stool took a beating and my forearm is sore this morning from punching it but all is well that ends well. Obligatory before game photo (yep I know, she’s too hot for me lol):

Like all of you I'm sure, yesterday was one of the greatest days of our lives as Rams fans. Winning in St Louis was great, but winning for LA was even better. It was along 2 weeks and yesterday was a day that I and we won't ever forget.

I became a Ram fan in 1967 watching the Packers vs Rams game as I have noted many times on this forum. Roman Gabriel has been my favorite Ram ever since. This year I was fortunate enough to attend the game in Lambeau as a bucket list item with my entire family, a total of 9 of us.
My oldest son is a huge Packer fan so he was happy as you would expect. The rough thing for me was we lost the game and my girlfriend and I were the only ones rooting for the Rams even though deep down I felt like she was puling for the Pack, which would be understandable as the stadium tour and their history would make it easy for anyone to want to root for them. What a great trip it was for all, including me and certainly for her 3 boys and my 4 kids. I wore my Roman Gabriel jersey and a ton of classy Packer fans came up to me truly appreciating the jersey and the history between the 2 teams.

It was a long 2 weeks leading up to the Super Bowl and yesterday as I was waiting and watching the 8 1/2 hours of pre game hype, I decided to get a workout in at home. At 2:30 edt I jumped on my lifecycle for 30 mins. Instead of continuing watching the pre game stuff, I popped on the 25 min highlight video of the game that made me a fan. What a great trip down memory lane for me and really brought it all home. Below is the link for anyone who remembers the Game of the week shows back then.

During the playoff run it has been seasonably cold here in Florida during the Rams playoff games, and I wore my Rams hoodie sweatshirt with all windows open to appreciate the cold weather and relive my days in NY of watching the Rams during the winter months and especially that wonderful game in 1967.

Yesterday I donned the Roman Gabriel jersey for the big game against my better judgement as we were 3-0 with me wearing the hoodie. 2 hours before the game I opened a bottle of red wine and spilled some on my white Gabriel jersey. I calmly threw it in the wash as I had 2 hours before kickoff and pulled on a Kurt Warner St Louis jersey thinking this could be an omen, but stayed with the Gabriel jersey for the game. Right after Higgins ripped Ramsey's face mask for the go ahead score I ripped off the Gabriel jersey and went back to the hoodie and the rest is history.

As the game ended I sent a group text to the other 8 who attended the Rams vs Packers game at Lambeau this year saying the following:
"I'm sure all thought you were witnessing the eventual Super Bowl Champs that day at Lambeau but little did you know. To the tune of that chant you were all doing that day in the stands: Go Rams Go".

Great trip, great day yesterday and great journey of being a Rams fan for me and for all the Rams faithful.

It was a virtual party for me. My cousin texting me about how he hates OBJ so I kept trolling him back after he scored. Haha.

Other friends and family calling/texting me at various points. Good times even though I was by myself.

It is so oddly emotional for me @ 58, I am pretty chill but Sports and specifically the Rams really bring it out.
I didn't sleep well Saturday night, vacillating between over confidence and doubt.
I spent the Sunday morning cleaning, gardening and just eating up time trying to occupy myself and be productive. Once it got to be late morning I grabbed my favorite human being my 18 year old son Stephen and we went for a juice. We drove around listened to music........ more and more aggressive and motivating until it was about an hourish from kick off.

We returned home and put on a local channel showing nearly all Ram fans and party's with local celebs supporting the Rams, I could not deal with the narrative of the major networks. We were ready for kick off , my son adorned his AD SB Jersey and I my Kupp jersey, we had managed to win every game with this combo in this order through the playoffs.
My wife made all kinds of food which I was mostly too nervous to eat.

I like to watch the Rams in small crowds preferably only My wife and son, I pace the whole game, question mistakes and agree with success. A Ram game is as close to living in a 1 dimensional tunnel as I get and it isn't always pretty.

I had surgery a few weeks ago and can only manage short walks without extreme pain so going to our house to watch our team whom I have had season tix for was out of the question but I had a quiet calm that watching at home could be nice with the controlled environment and all.

We are world champs for the second time in my life and as family has replaced sports as my greatest passion, the Rams seem to have not gotten that memo. Honestly it is the half full stadium of niner fans, the skip's, joe buck, the years of no Ram jersey's in L.A while we were losing year after year When merely admitting being a Ram fan drew snarky remarks and genuine questions of why? don't you know they suck.
Those experiences only solidified my Rams or nobody mentality. I would say Rams are my favorite team and the 31 others are second.
This board will probably see a spike in membership and in advance I welcome you but it is the adversity and misery that those of us here have endured while loving a team whose F.O doesn't love them anywhere near as much as we do and surviving to overcome this by finally getting an owner and front office whose isomorphic approach has finally matched that of it's fanbase.

I kept it small and easy.

In all honesty, I would have been just fine watching this game by myself.

I had my beautiful fiance, Mary.
My twins son and daughter, and a couple other friends.
Much smaller than the normal Super Bowl parties I attend.

I also kept it easy with the food.
Extremely easy.
I spent a total of 30-45 minutes in the kitchen yesterday throwing a couple slow cooker dishes together and some easy sliders.

I only had one focus.
Our Rams winning the Super Bowl.

It was a perfect day and I'm still on cloud 9.

My wife made the day special for me. She did all the cooking and everything was amazing.

But… game time I was alone, and thank goodness. I don’t mind having company during blowouts… but close games I like to watch the game.

For valentines, my wife made these for me. I am a lucky man.

It's Niner country, and without the anti-Patriot sentiment like last time it was bound to be a Bengals crowd.

I still had a great time. I was excited my son got to see a Los Angeles Rams Super Bowl win.
