Like what? Just curious as to your opinion. Was brilliant at the time but some of it hasn’t aged well.
I feel about the show ... like it but don't love it.
Just some of the general attitudes towards sex and race, really. All the lead characters were white, for example. And some of the jokes about women and gay people don't really work so well these days.Like what?
Well, it's comedy... I could go on a rant about this but instead I'll say this thread was created to share laughs about a show a lot of people loved and dissecting it via a statistical analysis of what it did or didn't have almost 30 years later is so anti-comedy the absurdity of it is funny.Just some of the general attitudes towards sex and race, really. Kramer was a classic character at the time but you watch the programme now and he just seems that bit too far-fetched.
Just my opinion. I'm sure plenty of people will disagree.
@XXXIVwin asked me a question, so I answered it.Well, it's comedy... Regarding cast... I watched the show Martin back in the 90s and found it funny and didn't care all the lead characters were not white. Why does this matter?
Kramer was over the top ridiculous on purpose... it's why he was funny.
And yada, yada, yada... I just want comedies to be funny.
The canned laughter does it for me.Was brilliant at the time but some of it hasn’t aged well.

I watched the Limo episode last night where George was thought to be the Nazi leader O'brian. Reading his manifesto in front of Jerry still has me laughing.
