It really is.
He's a good football player. If he was just a bit faster he may have gone pro as a running back. He looks a little like McCaffery when he runs.
He always down plays his award, but he was a QB who did everything and Megatron was a WR. The QB always wins that debate.

Well, to be fair, with all the highlights I've watched I dont recall seeing him actually throw the ball
I think the more fair question would be, with all those skills why wasnt he able to put up better numbers at a Miami OH?

For one it's a DIV 1 college..... Fierce Competition.
2. McVay more than likely had been playing QB since Jr. All American Football.
3. McVay having to switch position in college from QB to WR because of his height 5'9" takes alot of inner will to do so and he still was able to get close to 40 plays in the books during his three year college career which is damn impressive considering he had to learn a new position.

Kind of wild to realize McVay just missed playing with Ben Roethlisberger, and if things would have been different for Sean if legendary coach Terry Hoeppner (RIP) didnt leave for Indiana
I think his senior year he became a grad assistant coach. Then that set him off in his coaching journey.
