The Seattle Seahawks used basically the same play to complete a 46-yard touchdown pass against the Patriots two weeks earlier.
Tim Shields has broken down both plays in detail for RamsHerd.com. The resemblance between the plays and results are striking. The route Givens ran matches the route Rice ran.
"Without a doubt, the most copied team in this league over the last decade has been the New England Patriots," Shields writes. "However, today we'll look at how the Rams took a page out of the Seahawks' playbook to burn the Patriots."
