Bernie Miklasz joined Nick Wagoner and Tony Softli to talk about the Rams options along the offensive line after resigning Saffold, why they need to continue to shore up the line, and what are some other needs the Rams still need to address.

Listen to Bernie on the O-Line

Rams lost two starting OG's in Harvey Dahl & Chris Williams and the top 3rd Ram OG Shelley Smith. With Saffold starting in place of Harvey Dahl Rams took care of one of the needs but @ the same time Saffold was one of three OT's. With Saffold now officially a starting OG Ram have a need for a Swing OT. The lost of starting OLG Chris Williams plus in addition Williams was the 4th OT. Rams would appear to have Shelley Smiths replacement already here in Barrett Jones.

List of Ram OL needs for 2014
#1- Starting Left OG
#2- 3rd Swing OT ......replace OT Rodger Saffold who filled in for Jake Long
#3- Combo 4th OT/OG...replace SS-HD-CW who filled in for Saffold who was filling in for Long.

Rams offensive lineman Rodger Saffold on returning to St. louis after failing his physical with the Raiders. (2:23)

The notion of a guy who was never officially a member of another team and never played a down for them getting an "introductory" press conference amuses me.

It's going to go a loooooong, loooooong way with players that the Rams treated Saffold the way they did through this process. From Demoff vouching for him, to coaches and players calling to get him back, to the contract offer and everything else.

This group handles their shit with class and dignity and players will notice that. Everyone wants to be treated well regardless of income or status and our guys just shined as humans and coworkers and bosses. You know guys in the NFL saw that unfold and thought "damn, that was pretty sweet".

Kudos to them

Good guy. Smart guy. Glad he's back in Horns. Has definitely bulked up over the years too, holy shit.

Someone that has an inside connection needs to send him this. With love.
It looks like something made by stlouisrams.com . They post very similar graphics for "RAMS WIN" or "RAMS LOSE" after games.

Good to know. It sounded like, from his presser, that he "knows" we love him.

And we do.

To a man, we are happy as hell he is back.
