Loud, arrogant, boisterous, us-v-them leadership will only get you so far. If you can't always be the best, then discrediting and insulting others eventually rings hollow with followers when they really want success. You'll get fast results in both directions, up and down.Respect and humility are underappreciated in today's culture. I love that Coach McVay doesn't shy away from his honest admiration of the Patriots' achievements. Being petty or even coy about giving praise to an opponent is small behavior. You do that if you're small and you feel like the credit that goes to others takes away from your own.
Why fail, when asked, to show honor to another?
