OK, this is my final mock before Free Agency opens. As we are all are aware, the Rams are hurting in CAP availability and draft picks this year, at least presently. Both can be fixed somewhat, but not everyone will be pleased with the results. It looks like our only 3'rd & 4'th round draft picks will be coming from Compensation due to losing Fowler & Littleton last year and front office guy Holmes about a month ago. Most important for me was to retain Floyd as our Edge OLB and Darious Williams, find a permanent fix at Center and an inexpensive young vet WR to nail down the #4 position. Trading both Brockers and Havenstein opens up some needed CAP space while allowing us to move up and add draft picks. I had hoped to do more at ILB, but just couldn't find the assets to bring it home. ILB, a WR burner and another TE will have to wait until next year. The only rookie likely to start from day 1 is Carlos Basham Jr. who becomes our Fox replacement at 5T. Walker Little & Noteboom can now compete to take over Whitworth's LT spot next season, our Edge OLB'ers remain top notch, and our OL is much strengthened.

Looks pretty good except we need to add an ILB starter and drop Young IMO.

If we can find a quality free agent ILB whose cost isn't much higher than Young, i'm all over it. I think we might be fine with our nickel Safeties at LB, but i'd like to see a real thumper in there blocking rushers. jmo.

Only a couple of trades so it's easy to follow and some believe McVay is looking for a FB and some don't, but Mason would be a good one. Overall solid draft and counting on Zay Jones to be the burner at WR.

I thought this was the best mock I have seen. Addressed everything for the most part except ILB and I get it, but we got killed against the Packers.

Brockers is an older, expensive non pass rusher. He's likely only worth a 6th/7th rounder.

Hav is a more valuable piece right now, I think we'd net more for him than Brockers.

Lots of teams could use a quality interior 4-3 DT, ... like Brocker's should have remained.

This is one of few things that Shanny does, that I wish McVay would do.
I love me an old school ,true blue fullback.

In a year where quality TE's may not be as high on our wish list due to fewer resources, and a desire for a deep threat to compliment Stafford's arm, I believe a top notch blocking FB/HB could be a real benefit to our offense overall, our OL's blocking capabilities, a RB looking for additional space, and a big 3'rd/4'th down short yardage specialist, ... i'd like to see how McVay would use such an asset. jmo.

OK folks, just scratch out Corey Linsley's name in my mock and now insert Rodney Hudson. (y)
