He will be missed. Great actor. He had the full realm of range. Serious, dramatic, and well Tommy's Dad!
Many great parts in Tommy Boy. One of my favorites is when Bo Derek is getting out of the pool and Tommy asks if that is for him. His dad, Dennehy quickly responds, "No that is mine"

You can get a good look at a t-bone by sticking your head up a bull's ass but wouldn't you rather take the butchers word for it?

And then Tommy says...."She's a Ten"....RIP Brian Manion Dennehy you were excellent at your craft and I enjoyed every movie you were in.

Damn. He had monster screen presence. Similar to someone like Sean Connery except he wasn't the leading man type.

His small role as the bartender in Blake Edwards' movie "10" was the first movie i remember seeing him in. When an actor is coming up and they can make small roles memorable that's a sign of true talent.
Ex: John Turturro as The Jesus in The Big Lebowski.

As others have mentioned, Brian's role in First Blood was outstanding.

Been watching him on the blacklist the last few years. What a bummer to hear this. Brian was awesome!

One of my favorite all time actors. One of the few that could truly turn a supporting role into a main character. He was one of the best.
