Tommy Boy star Brian Dennehy dies at 81

The Tony Award-winning actor passed away on April 16 due to natural causes, his daughter said. Dennehy starred in numerous films including First Blood, Cocoon and Silverado.

Many great parts in Tommy Boy. One of my favorites is when Bo Derek is getting out of the pool and Tommy asks if that is for him. His dad, Dennehy quickly responds, "No that is mine"

His small role as the bartender in Blake Edwards' movie "10" was the first movie i remember seeing him in. When an actor is coming up and they can make small roles memorable that's a sign of true talent.
Ex: John Turturro as The Jesus in The Big Lebowski.

As others have mentioned, Brian's role in First Blood was outstanding.
