With the Rams and 49ers the NFC west is definitely formidable. But is Arizona really gonna be that good? I'll believe it when I see it. Seattle is a borderline playoff team at best. I think they're are probably the best in the NFC. But the AFC North could be formidable if Burrow stays healthy and Cleveland can repeat what they did last year. Pittsburgh is always good for 9 wins.

Dude - I don’t know. It’s that Unkown that keeps me from going to Vegas.

If you look at last year you can see a couple things that makes both those teams that much tougher in 2024.

The Hags that young talent from the R.Wilson traded, plus patching there holes. QB ? - Geno is still a solid QB if protected.

Murray is one of the most exciting players in football imo. He will be dialed in Day 1 with a New Coaching Staff. How they structure there offense around him will be huge.Yes it’s not a New HC - so just to show how much Indon’t know.Is Harrison’s jr. there Top Draft Pick 2024 ?

Have to remember that Murray is usually only good for 8 games.

After that, he eventually hurts his hamstring and is a shell of himself.

Has happened almost every year.

I’m still not scared by Seattle (slightly weary of) nor Arizona. This battle is between LA and the whiners.

Arizona, I'll believe it when I see it.
Seattle? I know its not popular around these parts to give Pete Carroll any credit, but IMO that team exceeded expectations year after year because of his coaching. I expect them to bottom out unless McDonald is the real deal.

I don't know what to think. San Francisco, the odds on favorite, seems like they're due for a bad year. We've seen it time and time again. An injury here, a sub par performance there, some unlucky bounces. That doesn't mean missing the playoffs but rather they aren't going to be as good as people think. I, like many Ram fans, believe the Rams are going to improve. What does that mean? How much of an improvement on 10-7? I could see a 3 or 4 game improvement. I also think Arizona is going to be better. Not because of Murray but in spite of him. I believe Jonathan Gannon is an excellent coach. Seattle? I don't know what to expect from them. They could be 10-7 or they could be 7-10. But I do believe they finish 4th in the division.

I agree. They are getting older in places too, like McCaffery.

100% agree on the Cards. Not a huge fan of Murray but love their HC and the GM is finally drafting and running their franchise pretty fucking good! Not sure if they finish 3rd but it’ll be damn close.

And Trent Williams.
Kittle is solid but peaked 2 years ago. I’m seeing drops and slower play. Dweebo is no longer a weapon but can still be a gadget playe. But he doesn’t play hurt. McC had a very good year but I see one more year at this level and that’s if he doesn’t get hurt again. This may be Trent Williams last year. So it’s this year or bust for the 69ers IMO.

The way Murray plays it is almost a foregone conclusion he is going to get hurt sometime during the season.

He is NOT a pocket passer because he has a really tough time seeing downfield.

As a result, he is a first read and run out of the pocket QB.

Edit - and I haven't been wrong yet since since after 8 games his stats go way down from what he does in the beginning of the year.

I like listening to the Yahoo guys on zero blitz but they act as if the NFC West is a mediocre division. This tends to be a universal theme amongst the talking heads. The only guys talking about the West are Cowherd, Shrager, and Eisen.

With the Rams and Niners there is no way that is true. I think the Cardinals will be on the rise with the Seahawks finishing last, due to the complete coaching overhaul. But I don’t see an easy out in this division.

Doesn’t mean you won’t be wrong?

What happens if you are ? How many games do the Cardinals win ?
I’m not saying really either way. What I am saying is he is a Wild Card & has Crazy talent.
—Yes he is in Denny Green’s word is he is what we think he is. Weather or not he changes and gets better as a NFL QB is anyone’s guess. You seem to know & say he won’t ever be more than he is. A 8 game QB.

My nickname for him is 8 game Murray until he proves me wrong.

If he proves me wrong, bully for him. But I extremely doubt it after being in the league for 5 years so far and showing he is 8 game Murray.

But other players have proved me wrong.

I just find it highly unlikely since he is so short.

Didn’t they have a great run a few years ago where they had ten wins, and the reporters were prematurely anointing them as the NFC Super Bowl team?

2021 they had a good season but they were 7 0 after 7 games and went downhill from there with a 4 and 6 record.

And then got blown out in the playoffs by the Rams where Murray was just absolutely terrible because he couldn't run around as well with an injured hamstring
