Just what I was thinking. At least a game each. Preferably when the Seahawks next face the Rams.

Sorry guys but if you think this sort of thing is rare, it's not. I bet you Rams players do the same thing. I've been around a team facility when the players were leaving and they drove like crazy people. It's pretty typical for them to race each other leaving the lot and drive way too fast and recklessly. Honestly, I'm surprised there aren't more accidents.

Ah to be rich and famous and completely out of touch with the common folk. Must be nice to know you can pay your way out of almost any trouble.

I have driven by the Cardinals' facility in Tempe literally thousands of times, at all times of the day - and I have never seen drag racing. Nor even any reckless driving by the players.

Of course, there IS a police substation less than a quarter mile away.

Yup. More goes on than most people are aware. I'll leave it at that.

Drag racing is a misnomer. They were probably just racing. I worked for a team a few years ago and one of my jobs was to drive the rookie players at the end of the day. And easily the toughest part of that job was dealing with the veterans leaving the lot. They drove recklessly and often raced each other. And since we were going to the same place, I constantly had to have eyes in the back of my head. They paid very little attention to the rules of the road.

Not surprising when you give young, reckless people very fast cars.

Reminds me of back in the day in the USAF. You want to see crazy drivers, watch fighter pilots and aircraft maintenance crews leave the base. It's more like a scene out of MAD MAX than an afternoon commute.

per rotoworld

CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports Fred Jackson and Marshawn Lynch weren't even drag racing when Jackson wrecked his car Tuesday afternoon.

TMZ Sports' story has quickly fallen apart. According to multiple eye witnesses, Jackson pulled out of the Seahawks' team facility a little too fast following practice and misjudged a sharp turn and crashed into a stop sign. Lynch simply was one of the teammates at the scene, along with several others. Jackson shouldn't face any legal or league discipline and is reportedly uninjured.

Another 2 years and Lynch will be a footnote. Beast mode becomes geriatric mode.
