Redskins cut Mason Foster

kind of messed up to do this right before training camp..

and I've been one of the biggest cheerleaders for Micah Kiser getting that shot inside..

but man Mason Foster can play..... He probably is gonna get a nice deal with someone..but man, we could use a guy like that..

His problem is his age and what he was making. He's also shown some malcontent tendencies so you have to wonder if there was a potential locker room issue. These types of cuts normally (not always) come down to something like that. The only place he would fit would be Kiser's position and I'd rather have a combination of Kiser and Mathews there than Foster.

Foster according to Redskins fans is one of the worst ILB they've ever had. He's slow and can't tackle. Hard pass.

I was banging the drum for Zach Brown earlier in the year, however, I think the Rams are committed to using the combination of Kiser/Matthews for the ILB position. Also - Rams were pretty obvious in picking up highly intelligent locker room leaders in FA. Sounds like Foster may not fall into that category.

If he would sign for a vet minimum for 1 year I'd be ok with it
