:) business / family trip. Did a bit o' fishing, and went to Canaveral too. Love Florida, so much to do there.


Cool. Glad you enjoyed it.

You just gave me a flashback to my Grandad. He kept his boat at the Cape Marina. He always called it "Canaveral" like you did. He even made a video of that area and narrated it. The video starts and he just says "Canaveral". I still have the VHS tape.

Anyway... all of us Locals nowadays call it The Port or The Cape. I like your way much better though.

I still have a framed picture that I took back in the early 80's along the Indian River there in Cocoa. My Grandad enlarged it and framed it for me... somehow I still have it. Hard to get a pic of it without a lot of glare but here it is...

My bird of paradise is starting to bloom.

This is weird. Normally there is only 1 bloom per stalk. This one popped out twins I guess. Never seen this before...
