Ray Ray Armstrong?

Just read where the Rams have supposedly signed Safety Ray Ray Armstrong. Can anyone confirm this and if true what are your opinions of him? The little I know about him is that he is really tough and he HAS an attitude (while he is playing!)! I don't know anything about his coverage skills but if the Rams have really signed him then I hope his coverage skills are good because he can definitely tackle! I don't think I would want to be a WR going against two Safety's like Armstrong and T.J. McDonald (and, I think their CB's Finnegan and Jenkins are pretty physical as well!)!

Yea we signed him its all on twitter and if you look his name up on Wikipedia it says he signed with rams as undrafted free agent . Fro his highlights it looks like can cover. I hope he makes the team

Excellent tackler at the safety position who makes plays all over the field. Big hitter who is considered a potential first round prospect by many NFL Draft outlets. He is certainly physically imposing and came to Miami as a highly touted prospect considered an “athlete” and clearly they chose the right spot for him. He really broke out as a sophomore with 79 tackles and three interceptions, one returned for a touchdown. Armstrong is very, very talented and has great potential as an NFL player. He is pretty much a consensus first team All-ACC heading into the 2011 season, and was second team All-ACC last year despite starting only four games. He should be one of the top safeties on most draft boards heading into the season.

He only started like 5 games in his 3 years at miami he got kicked out before his senior season . He got kicked out for receiving stuff from boosters. The school let him finish and graduate. He has the tools to be a safety just needs the right coach
