That might be a fantastic idea. He's big, likes to hit, isn't showing a ton of Safety speed at the moment. And isn't he weighing 230lbs right now? Drafting TJ McDonald and picking up Cody Davis as an UDFA, we might not be as thin at the Safety position as many think, including me for that matter. I think I like it.

Interesting move. I think this could turn out wonderfully. There is little risk(he's a UDFA) and a ton of upside(getting a LB with a little pop that can cover). He'll need to learn to wade through the OLine and make plays against the run. He'll need to sharpen his instincts too. He could be a nice sub-package option too
