Just curious if anyone else has this striking them as odd? This kid was being compared to Sean Taylor before getting booted from school, he can really play ball...Not sure about the OLB....Maybe a Thomas Davis kind of conversion?

Well we've known for a while that he would play OLB. He played alot in the box in college and in my opinion just plays more like a LB. I think he'll make the roster and play a nice role.

I dont see him finding the field much, but he could be a monster on special teams

Another guy that covers ground and eats running QB's for lunch?

Possibly the long term replacement for Dunbar, don't forget Ogletree was the #1 safety prospect and id say he turned into a stud OLB.

That's what I'm thinking. They're looking for a guy who can play a little bit in a depth roll and develop.

I agree that he is a special teamer first, and possibly a very good one, but I can also see him in some special packages, against running QB's, and two tight end packages, where we need the speed to track down, but also the ability to cover a tight end or running back.

Think about McDonald, C. Davis, Ogletree, and Ray Ray, and they are all a similar body type size wise (6' 2" - 6' 3",) although Ogletree is heavier than the rest.
