[textarea]4 minutes ago - by Ron Clements - McDaniels frustrated with lack of offensive success
Despite a lot of hype entering the season, the Rams rank dead last in scoring at 12 points per game under offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels. “I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t frustrated,” McDaniels said. “We’re all competitive and we want to win. Right now, we’re not getting the results we want.” Rams RapidReports[/textarea]
[textarea]7 minutes ago - by Ron Clements - McDaniels stands by game plan vs. Seahawks
Offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels did not second-guess last Sunday’s game plan to use multiple empty sets against Seattle. RB Steven Jackson had three straight 100-yard games but was limited to 42 yards on only 15 carries. McDaniels said the conventional running plays weren’t working against Seattle, so the Rams used more spread. Rams RapidReports[/textarea]

The Rams only have four CBs on the 53-man roster this week, meaning all four should be active on Sunday. They are Josh Gordy, Justin King, Rod Hood and Nate Ness. Coach Steve Spagnuolo said Ness, promoted from the practice squad last week, has no choice but to be ready and will be involved in special teams. Rams RapidReports[/textarea]

Coach Steve Spagnuolo on OT Thomas Welch, signed off Buffalo’s practice squad on Tuesday: “He’s a guy our personnel department’s had their eyeball on. He’s been in the system, knows the terminology and the verbiage, so that’s a bonus. He’s a big guy.” Rams RapidReports[/textarea]
[textarea]29 minutes ago - by Ron Clements - CB Johnson out of hospital, will heal with rest
CB Marquis Johnson was released from the hospital Tuesday after staying Monday night for observation with a lacerated spleen. He was placed on IR but is expected to heal without surgery. “It will clear up for him, but you didn’t want him playing football,” coach Steve Spagnuolo said. “He’s out (of the hospital) and he’s moving around. "McDaniels said the conventional running plays weren’t working against Seattle"

No kidding? It was painfully obvious after week 3 that the Rams only either run off tackle or up the middle. Oh, and Jax will recieve the ball about 10 miles away from the LOS.

15 running plays and you gave up, McD? On Steven freaking Jackson??? What kind of message is that sending? What a loser mentality. I'm sorry, that's just Bush League.
