Rams - I think they played it smarter than we're giving them credit for, they went for an updated look, but I think as time goes on these uniforms will be seen more as classics. As the helmet rule relaxes, they can be more flexible, and I think that'll lead for some additional touches and looks that'll put us over the top as the years go on. I have mixed feelings here, because on individual levels I can make a number of changes that I think would make it look better, but I can also see how they can grow, and how small additions (like a bone helmet for that jersey) can really take things to the next level. I think they've uniquely positioned themselves for the future, and I give credit for that.
Chargers - They did the opposite in the sense of how they handled it, but also played it smarter, especially in the short term. I think over time the jersey's will fade, not in the sense that they wont be good still, I expect them to always rank high, but I think they'll just be old news. I could be wrong, but that's my gut feeling.
Bucs - Their attempt to go modern didn't really work out, so they went back to more classics. I don't expect this look to last either though to be honest, I can see the Bucs doing a uniform overhaul in another 10 years. It's not that they aren't bad, they look good, but I think they just sort of blend into the background, a little boring. Good, but they don't excite me.
Colts - Hardly a change really. Their uniforms weren't bad nor were they amazing. This update doesn't move the needle in either way.
Browns - Similar to the Colts, this uniform change, while larger than what Indy did, basically doesn't move the needle. Their uniform didn't excite me nor did I think it was terrible and that stays the same. Their "rank" doesn't change from the change.
Falcons - The gradient here is a gradient done wrong, too much, way too much. It sucks too, because they're taking away the Red and leaning more into the black and the white, which is okay, it doesn't look too bad, but that Red is the best part, they should be trying to use more not less. These are the first to really fall in the "bad" category here, the numbers seem overblown, not a fan of the ATL there, and they're going more boring in terms of their color scheme. The far right version looks the best, and that's the version that looks the most like what they had before, that's not really good.
Patriots - I didn't think their jerseys were all that good before, but they weren't terrible.. They managed to make a pretty blah thing into a very blech thing, it just looks shitty. When your old jerseys were not that good, but still a significant upgrade to what you have now, that's bad, real bad.
