He was 20 for 21 in the UFL last year, I know the guy has a serious leg. Having said that, I highly doubt that McVay goes with Mevis this week giving that it's on the road and against our rival.
Dempsey was the kicker when I first got on board with the Rams. I could not stand him; he kept missing and getting it blocked. That TD by the Eagles reminded me of his blocked kick vs the Vikings.
Avila has competitionHe should pressure Karty from the PS. But he's also gonna pressure the Rams cafeteria, so I hope they're ready.
Dude looks a little like Chris Farley.![]()
How does he kick it so far without any leg lift?
Also, Power = force * velocity, and force = mass * accelerationI can't say for sure - but your answer may be in here, somewhere....
The classical "momentum" versus "energy" confusion !
Momentum is mass times velocity P→=m⋅v→ and is a vector (points in the same direction as the velocity). Energy is a scalar and E=12m⋅|v|2

Well he does have a lot of mass.I can't say for sure - but your answer may be in here, somewhere....

If Mevis outkicks Karty in practice, he will be active on gameday. I liked Karty coming out of Stanford and I do believe that Blackburn is more responsible, but you cannot miss 39 yard field goals. Hopefully, the right kicker will play and I also believe having McQuaide should help and maybe McVay hires McQuaide in 2026 as the new Special Teams Coordinator. He was 20 for 21 in the UFL last year, I know the guy has a serious leg. Kickers are the devil.
Its because that ham hawk of a leg he is swinging weighs as much as Karty's total body weight. How does he kick it so far without any leg lift?
