The Seahawks get set to travel to L.A. to take on the Rams in the 2024 season finale at SoFi Stadium. Click here to learn how to watch, listen, and stream the action.
The Seahawks began their week of preparation on Wednesday afternoon and were missing five players, three due to injury and two for resting purposes. Cornerback Josh Jobe was unable to participate as he is dealing with a knee injury that he sustained in last week's win at the Chicago Bears. Jobe did not return to the game after injuring his knee in Week 17 and remained out to start this week.
Tackle Abraham Lucas and tight end Brady Russell didn't practice today because of injuries. Lucas is listed with an abdomen/knee injury but did not miss any snaps in last week's game. Russell has missed five games this season, including the last two, due a foot injury and hasn't practiced in recent weeks. Veteran defensive linemen Jarran Reed and Leonard Williams were given the day off for resting purposes which has been a common occurrence throughout the season.
Four players were limited on Wednesday including defensive players Ernest Jones IV and Byron Murphy II. Jones was limited with a knee injury while Murphy saw limited reps due a back injury. Guard Laken Tomlinson was the only other player that was limited because of injuries while Tyler Lockett was given limited work for resting purposes.
The Rams held a walkthrough on Wednesday and released an estimated injury report had they practiced. Only two players were listed as tackle Rob Havenstein sat out with a shoulder injury while wide receiver Jordan Whittington was limited due to an ankle injury.

Play Jimmy G let him throw for 500 yards and 4 TD as we smoke these pigeons so we can get a 3rd round comp pick for somebody over paying him to start for them.

And then Stafford will be pissed off and primed for a strong playoff run. :laugh3:

We have money to spend this year so I doubt we will get any comp picks in 26' for this year's offseason.

Man that's such a strange thing for Rams to have :)
Unless they focus more on re-signing guys to extensions, but I don't think last years rookie class can get extensions until next offseason. So Alaric Jackson, Lake, & Kyren Williams would be the only guys that jump out as potential extensions. Maybe re-sign Rozeboom, Witherspoon & Hoecht as well.

If they did all of that, which is doubtful, then they wouldn't sign as many outside guys that would hurt the comp pick formula. Then they could go get help in the 2nd phase of FA after the comp pick formula no longer applies.

IMO Gotta keep Ajax, KWill and Hoecht. Im ok with Roze/Spoon as depth but want other starters. Lake can probably easily be replaced.
