Jeremiah Smith is filthy wow
Donovan Olugbode (Mizzou, true sophomore receiver) is outstanding as well (he'll be eligible in 2028). Just an absolutely dominant receiver who just needs consistency. Cayden Lee has been Austin Simmons' favorite target, and he's been awesome as well (and is a senior eligible for the 2027 class, along with Simmons; keep an eye on Lee, because I guarantee you that his stock is rising.). Even though we're not taking a running back, Jamal Roberts has absolutely stepped up in the absence of Ahmad Hardy (whom I am praying comes back from the gunshot wound he sustained. Hopefully he comes back this year, but I'd be fine with him sitting this year out and playing next to get healthy.). Wouldn't surprise me a bit (in fact, it would shock me if he didn't because his stock is never going to be higher than it is) if Roberts entered the draft after this year.
And yeah, I'm becoming a believer in Simmons after seeing him in some of the SEC play. No picks thus far to eleven touchdowns (and honestly, our receiving corps with tight ends included, Olugbode and Lee aside, isn't anything to write home about). Just doing an amazing job with his progressions and buying time in the pocket (he's getting sacked a bit, and he's not the most mobile QB, but he can manuever the pocket). Simmons can sling the ball and is an intelligent gunslinger who doesn't take the chances he knows he'll lose but is willing to take chances for the most part.
And keep a very,
very close eye on Daeden Hopkins as well. Super athletic and lengthy (6'6", 250 lbs.) edge rusher who already has six sacks. Redshirt sophomore, so if he keeps having this kind of year, he might very well come out as well.
Lots of interesting Mizzou players to watch in this year, especially having slaughtered the Gators.
