lol. Fuck you, Gordon.

Coaching gets an A during a win, and an F during a loss.
I'm gonna dust off that old piece you did in 1998 about Vermeil now. Douche.

These grades are pretty friendly, but when you put a beating on a team like Indy, you deserve some reward.

I don't see how the secondary gets an A.:jerkoff: Finnegan still gets burned by whoever he's covering and JJ gives up a big gain at least once a game when he goes rouge.
Maybe a C+ is more realistic IMO

The thing I don't like about Gordo's grades are the knee-jerk underanalysis that goes into it.

For example, lets look at RB and DB.

RB is graded at an A...had the Rams lost it would have been a D or C, guaranteed. He would have put more emphasis on the low YPC and devalued Cunninghams big run even more.

DB is graded as an A...had the Rams lost he would have given them a C based on Jenkins making a habit of giving up a big play every week. Probably would have paid more attention to the one drive that Indy marched down the field as well.

No doubt in my mind he would have scrutinized the low passing attempts as well had the score been different.

He's rarely balanced...always extreme to one direction or the other. His grades don't have any kind of consistent process...basically he doesn't really "grade" them...he puts a generic label on it and follows up with a recap. Pretty lame really.

Shit...just look at the first grade on the QB..."Ok, Clemens wasn't perfect..." And grades him an A. :slap::jerkoff:

Yeah, Gordo's grades are always determined by the win-loss. He should be more objective, focusing on the play of the units, not the score.

I did my own grades yesterday and lets just say that the coaching and defensive gradess were the same except for the secondary-the offense not so much.
