The Los Angeles Rams were very active at the Senior Bowl last year, spending a great deal of time and effort scouting players in Mobile. That was very obvious during the week of interviews and practice, but it was even more evident in the draft, itself.
Six of the Rams’ seven picks participated in the Senior Bowl with Samson Ebukam being the only exception. All of their first four picks were in Mobile last year, including Cooper Kupp and Gerald Everett.
Clearly, they put a great deal of value in the Senior Bowl, as many teams do. However, more than most organizations, the Rams go all out in the interview process. According to Charles Robinson of Yahoo Sports, Los Angeles had eight to 10 staff members in the interview room with prospects to the point where there weren’t enough chairs.

#SeniorBowl:
#Rams pounded the formal interview process with prospects this week. 8-10 personnel/coaching staffers in interviews, to the point there weren’t enough chairs at times. Long interviews, too. No other
#NFL team staffed the interviews that intensely.

The Rams reportedly met with safety Trayvon Henderson and tight end Durham Smythe, among others,
according to Downtown Rams. They certainly interviewed several other players, so it’s hard to get a feel for which direction they’re looking in the draft.
One thing’s for sure, though: At least a few of players from this week in Mobile will be drafted by the Rams in April as they haven’t been shy about their love for players from the Senior Bowl.
