Gonna hate to see both of them go ... but limited resources, and we are in good shape in JJ's position group.

We've drafted safety well lately anticipating letting JJ go. And Floyd will get overpaid somewhere while we pick up great value at edge with another vet FA. We'll take our two 3rd round comp picks next year and keep it moving. That's been our formula.

We've replaced Tru, Joyner, Littleton and Fowler. Not worried at all. Go get your money boys. No need to pay them the tag. We've been loading up on draft safeties for this. Replace Floyd with the "EDGE who will benefit from AD Flavor of the Year". Not shocked by this at all and doesn't really hurt the fan in me in the slightest.

Here's to hoping safety John Johnson, TE/HB Gerald Everett, CB Troy Hill & WR Josh Reynolds get some seriously high contract offers. Snead will need a few late third-round compensatory picks for the 2022 draft.
Did we ever find out which of the three 3rd rd Ram 2021 draft selections, Snead traded to Detroit Lions? Sure hope he kept our own #88 selection.

I'll miss the heck out of JJ3 and Floyd. Especially Jj3 energy and swagger. Unfortunately fortunately enough we have his replacements it seems and they're real solid.
I'm more worried about losing Floyd because we have next to nothing behind him and what's there is often hurt.
But, we will be fine.

His signing didn’t count against this years comp pick ? I know I’m not totally in-depth & your knowledge and being up to date is better than mine.
What I will say & have been saying is this years 2017 first FA class of McSnead will bring more comp picks from seasons past.
D.Williams,Everett & whoever Bonifay’d is stating in this post ??
Add trades as well.
In 2022 The Rams will also have a bunch of FA & Cap space opening up.The Rams still are one of the youngest teams in The NFL.
IMO it shows Mcvay is building things for the long haul & this Rams Franchise is in good shape.Higbee becomes a FA when ?? Hopkins & Blanton like you have stated have no real NFL experience.
