37. The LA Rams are on the clock

No one is on the phone looking to trade up - there are no serious offers to consider.

It's time to pick one guy. I'll give it a day and then majority rules. Feel free to mention multiple options but make a clear vote for one guy here at 37. You don't need to include what you are going to do in round 3 - we will get there eventually.

In that draft I'd take Godwin there at 37.

Malik McDowell DE, would fit very well as a 3-4 DE.

I'd have traded up for Njoku or Ramzcyk.

But of the options available, T.J. Watt runs away with it for me.

Taco Charlton DE Pass Rushers are hard to get. In a normal draft he goes much higher. He still has room to grow.

or

Quincy Wilson CB is my pick. Excels at press coverage and has outstanding ball skills along w/ size.

Wasn't an Off player I thought worth the draft spot so i went for adding a stud Def player. A case of letting the draft come to us.

He was picked way up there at #8.

I'm thinking CB too...but my fav was Kevin King....I might go Witherspoon in this scenario...or Awuzie....Colorado corners...

#1 -Taco Charlton OLB Edge rusher to replace Conner Barwin after he departs when the season ends or Robert Quinn is unable to return to health. Its said he is a Chandler Jones (AZ Cards/NE Pats) clone.

#2- -Zack Cunningham ISLB for protection if the Alec Ogletree negotiations break down & or if Rams release Mark Barron after this season as a cap saving move.

#3- - Malik McDowell LDE/RDE prospect to replace Dom Easley when he departs when the season ends & as an emergency in-case the Aaron Donald negotiations break down.

I saw the Rams on the clock at 69 thread first. I cannot believe we watched TJ Watt go from us at 37. Need, Fit, Talent, Pedigree, etc.
