They need to simply take whatever the defenses are giving them. I seen a attitude early in season from the players like "not against our offense". Well a few injuries and players getting gassed late in the season, keep it simple, take what is given and god things will happen.
Then defenses will adjust and the deep stuff will start clicking again.
Don't overthink it coach McVay.Smart people tend to do that.

Need more 2 TE offense for both run and pass plays. Less predictable and more help run or pass blocking. Maybe Everett or Higbee in the backfield to help if Sullivan keeps getting blown up. Would they even think of playing the younger Allen?

I agree that defenses are more in our playbook at this point. Formation changes would be wise. 2 TE sets could be effective as Philly said above. I'm surprised we haven't seen it already with Kupp out and Everett emerging.

When asked earlier in the season how do you slow down the Ram offense or any high octane offense with multiple weapons i said and have always said you've got to be able to get pressure by rushing four and force your will with physicality. Bring the heat on 3rd down. Not all defenses can do that effectively for four quarters. The Bears can, the Eagles did.

I believe the Rams can adjust and respond with the running game and by giving different looks to the defense with our two quality TE's. Our OLine is a physical group but seem to be wearing down a bit by backing up into pass blocking so often. Find ways to let them eat.

Idk. Overall i think our offense needs to get tougher and more physical. Getting Gurley, Higbee and Everett more involved could help that.

@Mojo Ram i don't think defenses are in our playbook. I think they are about enforcing their will on us.

Schwartz guessed correctly and stacked the box in the first few series knowing that McVay would run the ball often. He then disregarded the motioning to keep his players in their formation. Chicago and Detroit did this as well. Schwartz then went to a zone shell to take away the intermediate and deep passes when they were up by a lot.

Defenses are simply dictating our offense by allowing the 5-10 yd gains and taking away the intermediate and deep routes. Think of it as using the G Will defense against his former team.

I really think you have to take a look at Allen in these next two games. I think Sully needs a rest. The guy can't seem to anchor down against the stronger bull rushes and it's causing havoc in the backfield. I know Sully is seasoned but his age is going to be a factor come playoff time. I hope the rams staff at least is giving Allen the proper reps just incase they have to pull Sully in a game.

You're correct and well put. McVay needs to adjust to what defenses are doing to us right now. and I think he will all good coaches do. But it usually take a couple of weeks of running new plays and new schemes to become efficient

I know these last 2 loses were hard to take and the Rams had break downs in all three phases of the game, yesterday. However, I do believe they will get things worked out and win these last 2 games. We are about to find out how together this team is, if they pull together and fight through this thing or if they turn on each other.

So is it the defense adjusting to the scheme or is it losing individual matchups. The interior especially has been getting abused. Sully has had a bad few weeks.
I’ve read that teams are staying in their base and playing zone to take away deep stuff so the response to that is to find the lb in coverage or take the check down, which Goff hasn’t been doing. Add to that TG hasn’t been breaking off chunks like earlier in the year.
Defenses across the league are catching up, none of the big time offenses managed to score 30 points. We need Gurley to be Gurley, he can be the solution, he can grind it out inside and out run lbs and safeties outside.
