Morning Ram-blings: Wrapping up the Super Bowl
By Nick Wagoner

http://espn.go.com/blog/st-louis-rams/post/_/id/15951/morning-ram-blings-wrapping-up-the-super-bowl

EARTH CITY, Mo. -- Since football is over until next season begins, I wanted to take a moment to start these Ram-blings with a final look at one of the greatest (or at least most dramatics) Super Bowls ever played.

In doing so, I just wanted to point to a few of the many great stories and pieces here on ESPN.com to come from the aftermath of the Super Bowl. No, they aren't technically related to the St. Louis Rams, but they are good reads and there are some takeaways from each that can be tied back to the Rams and what they need to do to reach a championship level.

Without further ado, here's some of the great stuff from our people that you might have missed:

From the things we already knew department: Patriots reporter Mike Reiss is phenomenal at his job. The latest example is his piece on Patriots cornerback Malcolm Butler and the play that saved the Super Bowl.

Speaking of people who are phenomenal at their job, ESPN the Magazine senior writer Seth Wickersham offered an excellent look at Tom Brady's celebration.

Ian O'Connor provided the look from the other angle on the call that will be rehashed and discussed for many years.

Seahawks reporter Terry Blount approaches the interception from the eyes of Russell Wilson.

That's just a small sample of the worthwhile reading on the big game, so feel free to check it all out.

I.C.Y.M.I.

A roundup of Monday's Rams stories appearing on ESPN.com. ... In the Ram-blings, we examined the latest from commissioner Roger Goodell on the Rams and Los Angeles. ... We then wrapped up the Super Bowl with some Rams-related thoughts. ... The Rams offensive coordinator job remains open but probably not much longer. ... Finally, we got a look at early odds on the winner of Super Bowl 50.

Elsewhere:

Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman needs elbow surgery.

It's official: Seattle is losing defensive coordinator Dan Quinn to the Atlanta Falcons.

At 101sports.com, Randy Karraker provides his 10 takeaways from the Super Bowl.

At stltoday.com, Bernie Miklasz writes that Pete Carroll's call defied logic.

Former Rams receiver Danny Amendola earned his first Super Bowl ring, writes Jim Thomas.
