Morning Ram-blings: Scanning the mocks
By Nick Wagoner

http://espn.go.com/blog/st-louis-rams/post/_/id/16166/morning-ram-blings-scanning-the-mocks

EARTH CITY, Mo. -- ESPN NFL draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. offered his second mock draft Wednesday and again had the St. Louis Rams taking an offensive lineman in the form of Stanford tackle Andrus Peat.

We'll have more on that choice later Thursday but for now, let's take a look around the Internet to see what others are saying about the potential choice for the Rams in this year's draft.

NFL.com's mock draft central offers the opinions of four experts in one spot. There, Charles Davis sends Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston to the Rams with the 10th overall pick and Lace Zierlein goes with LSU offensive lineman La'el Collins. Bucky Brooks and Daniel Jeremiah opt for cornerbacks with Brooks choosing Washington's Marcus Peters and Jeremiah selecting Michigan State's Trae Waynes.

To go with that, NFL.com draft analyst Mike Mayock also released his top five players by position.

Rotoworld.com's Josh Norris has the Rams going with Iowa offensive tackle Brandon Scherff.

Pat Kirwan, of CBSSports.com, echoes Kiper's latest sentiment by sending Peat to the Rams.

At SI.com, Chris Burke provides a two-round mock draft by sending Collins to the Rams in the first round and UCLA quarterback Brett Hundley to St. Louis in round 2.

It's way too early to take much of this seriously but what say you, Rams fans? What are your early thoughts on the direction the Rams should go in this year's draft?

Elsewhere:

It's doubtful the Rams would look this direction but you can add Josh McCown's name to the list of available quarterbacks this offseason.
