Morning Ram-blings: Overrated/Underrated draft prospects
By Nick Wagoner

http://espn.go.com/blog/st-louis-ra...am-blings-overratedunderrated-draft-prospects

EARTH CITY, Mo. -- It's a simple fact of the NFL draft that not every highly rated player is going to turn into a productive NFL player and, on the other side, that some players who don't get much attention will emerge as long-term stars in the league.

Attempting to predict such things is actually a big part of the job for teams as they evaluate players entering the draft. On Thursday, the folks at Pro Football Focus did what they could to take out some of the guesswork.

With that in mind, here's Pro Football Focus' look at the 10 most underrated prospects in this year's draft followed by their choices for the 10 most overrated prospects in the class.

Among the underrated prospects, the St. Louis Rams have showed interest in Wisconsin offensive tackle Rob Havenstein. Havenstein is a typical Wisconsin mauler who needs some work as a pass-protector. But he could also represent good value as late as Day 3 if the Rams are still searching for help by then.

As for the overrated prospects, there are a couple of prospects the Rams have showed interest in who make the list. Namely, Iowa offensive lineman Brandon Scherff, Michigan State cornerback Trae Waynes, Kentucky pass-rusher Bud Dupree and Mississippi State linebacker Benardrick McKinney.

Of that list, it's worth noting that PFF only considers Scherff overrated as a left tackle but as a potential star if he plays guard.

Of course, only time will tell how any of this works out.

That's pretty cool! The only thing I can critic is the score board, they need to refine that IMO.
