Maybe I'm clueless, but I've never seen a post on this--not that I've looked hard. I've definitely not seen it discussed by any of the beat writers.

Anyway, I think it's a nice change: put the team first, but it's ok to take care of your own business after that. "We not me" was a little harsh.

I heard McVay say it about 7-10 day ago when being interviewed post draft. The image below is from the latest Grind trailer: "TRAILER: Behind The Grind Ep. 1 | Embracing Change"

'We sacrifice, we fight, we work hard, we win, then you cut me."
Cooper Kupp

Jokes aside, I like the old one better.
"We not me" led to McVay sacrificing everything including his mental health, burning out completely after the SB win, and coming very, very close to an early retirement.

"We then me" is still sacrificing what you need to have a chance to win but not forgetting to take care of yourself at the end of the day.

McVay is great because he is always adapting and the change was necessary to continue being able to coach without going off the deep end.

Over the word WE in small font are the words “Work” and “Enjoyment”.

There are two words over ME but are not legible.

Could be just because I’m old as dirt but I prefer the original, all about the team, mindset. It takes a “team” to win championships.
