(On the 49ers defensive line)
“This is a really good football team and they’re very well-coached. They’ve got young players that are ascending. They’ve got some good players, even from last year’s draft that can’t get active because there’s so much depth there. It’s a good football team.”
(On the 49ers having all 11 starters on defense considering free agency and roster turnover in the NFL today)
“Well, they’ve got a good thing going. It started years ago and (49ers head) Coach (Jim) Harbaugh’s really got things cranked up there. Obviously, that’s what you want to try to do is be able to keep your good players and they’ve done a good job with it.”
