-The St. Louis Rams improved to 2-2 on Sunday after defeating the Arizona Cardinals, 24-22, at University of Phoenix Stadium.

-The Rams are 35-36-2 all-time against the Cardinals in regular season play.

-With today’s win, the Rams are 2-0 in the division for the first time since 2012.

-The Rams pushed their all-time record in regular season road games against the Cardinals to 17-17-2. Today’s victory giving the Rams their first road win of the 2015 season and first against the Cardinals since Nov. 25, 2012.

-St. Louis tallied four sacks today, marking the Rams’ second-consecutive game with multiple sacks against the Cardinals at University of Phoenix Stadium. The Rams extended their streak to 15 games with at least one sack against the Cardinals dating back to Nov. 2, 2008.

-S Mark Barron forced a fumble on the opening kickoff. It was his second forced fumble of his career. His first came during his rookie season vs. Washington (9/30/12).

-QB Nick Foles threw a 12-yard touchdown to WR Tavon Austin on the opening drive of the game. The last touchdown scored on a Rams’ opening drive came on Nov. 30, 2014 against the Oakland Raiders.

-WR Tavon Austin scored his first receiving touchdown of the season and fifth of his career on the Rams’ opening possession.

-CB Lamarcus Joyner and DE Chris Long each recorded a sack in the first quarter. The sacks marked the second on the season for both Joyner (3.0 career) and Long (53.5 career). Entering today’s game, Arizona had only allowed one sack on QB Carson Palmer while the Rams came into Week 4 tied for the NFL lead in sacks with 14.

-CB Janoris Jenkins intercepted QB Carson Palmer in the second quarter. The interception marked his third interception against the Cardinals – all three interceptions occurred at University of Phoenix Stadium. His previous two came during his rookie season (11/25/12).

-Jenkins now leads the Rams with two interceptions on the season, giving him nine in his career. Jenkins moved into a tie for 44th most interceptions in team history.

-K Greg Zuerlein converted a 30-yard field goal in the second quarter. Zuerlein is 6-of-6 on the season and 3-of-3 on field goals of 30-39 yards.

-Austin recorded a 47-yard catch in the second quarter, marking his longest reception since Nov.10, 2013 against the Indianapolis Colts (81t yards)

-In the third quarter, S Rodney McLeod gave the Rams their third turnover of the game, forcing a fumble with 8:48 remaining. CB Trumaine Johnson recorded the fumble recovery, the first of his career. The forced fumble was the fifth of McLeod’s career.

-WR Stedman Bailey recorded his first TD of the season, second of his career on an 18-yard touchdown from Foles.

-S TJ McDonald registered a third-quarter sack, marking his first sack of the season and fourth of his career.

-RB Todd Gurley earned his first NFL start. He finished the game with 19 carries for 146 yards. Gurley is the first Ram to rush for over 100 yards since Nov. 30, 2014 (Tre Mason, 117 yards).

-Gurley added a 52-yard rush in the fourth quarter. It was the longest play of the game.

-Austin scored his second receiving touchdown in the fourth quarter. It was the first time he scored two receiving touchdowns in a single game since his rookie season (Nov. 10, 2013 at Indianapolis). Austin now has four touchdowns on the year (2 rec, 1 ru, 1 ret).

-Austin led the Rams in receiving with 96 yards and finished second behind Gurley in rushing with 20 yards on two carries.

-Foles finished the game with a passer rating of 126.9 (16-of-24). He passed for a season-high three touchdowns. He last threw three TDs on Sept. 21, 2014 vs. Washington as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles.

-The Rams defense limited the Cardinals to 12 points and zero touchdowns through the first three quarters. Overall, St. Louis held Arizona’s offense to one touchdown in their five red zone appearances. Arizona entered Week 4 leading the NFL in total TDs scored (17) and points scored (126).

-LB James Laurinaitis registered a sack-fumble in the fourth quarter. It was both his first sack and forced fumble on the season. In his career, he has totaled 16.5 sacks and two forced fumbles.

-LB Alec Ogletree left the game in the third quarter with an ankle injury. LB Daren Bates and Cameron Lynch split time as his replacement, marking Lynch’s first NFL action at linebacker. According to press box statistics, Ogletree led the team in tackles with nine and Bates recorded a career-high two tackles.

-S Christian Bryant made his NFL debut.

Gurley could have easily scored at the end of the game but instead pulled up taking points off the board for his fantasy owners.

They are surely going to miss Ogletree. I hope Bates/Lynch can do the job. I do feel like there's at least some depth there this year. It sucks for Ogletree though.

Whoever wrote this made some mistakes. Going into the game we were 35-35-2 all time vs the Cardinals so now it would be 36-35-2. We also came into the game with 13 sacks, not 14. Just some minor errors that frustrate me. Do your job right or don't do it at all.
