How much do they get from the DOD for that?
Come on now, that's funny and all with the headlines today, I get it, but this dude deserves a shot in my book. The day when we accept cheaters and liars are still super bowl winners and heroes don't deserve a chance, where are we?
"Original walk-on wide receiver who attended Clemson on the GI Bill ... decorated war hero who served approximately 18 months (starting Jan. 26, 2007) in Iraq and one year in Afghanistan ... served in the Army from 2006-10 ... achieved the military rank of Sergeant ... involved in Battle of Kamdesh in Afghanistan on Oct. 3, 2009, when 300 Taliban insurgents battled with 38 U.S. troops; eight Americans lost their lives and 22 were injured, including Rodriguez, in one of the most violent battles in the war; earned a Purple Heart and the Bronze Star Medal With Valor Device for his heroism at Kamdesh."
I just have a feeling that he'll be cut as soon as there is anybody they want purely for football, or when they need the spot because somebody gets injured and they need practice bodies to get ready for training camp. Maybe he doesn't mind that since he'll have briefly been a NFL player sort of, but I don't see that as respectful to him.
Yes. Keep in mind that as driven as he may be - it translated to being a backup receiver at Clemson. And that is likely impressive for his physical talents.
I'm rooting for Daniel Rodriguez. The moment that pen touched that contract Daniel Rodriguez became the biggest badass in the League. I'm not a soldier, that's not who I am, but I have a lot of respect for those guys. The Taliban don't play fair. I won't say what I think of the Taliban because it's a rant that covers every letter in the alphabet.
Hey Den, what does that first sentence mean? ( tongue in cheek)I knew Tyler Ott would make it you need to LS in camp. Great for Rodriguez watched a story about him during one of the college football games truly a great american!

He's also willing to play special teams. That only helps his chances.I thought Danny Amendola's greatest asset was he was quicker than he was fast. This guys workouts are impressive. If this young man has hands, can run routes and is sneaky quick - he's got a legitimate shot.
