If that does not make you emotional just call yourself the Tin Man.

Vs. the rookies that are UDRFA’s.

The 2nd biggest guy had the biggest tears.Guaranteed money helps there family out.Dreams coming true from the ones who supported them on this journey.

Revisiting the draft, and now combining it with the trade, it really comes down to this in the end.

The Rams easily could look at this as having traded this years first for Garrett, and next yrs #1 was used for Simpson, but instead of spending a year in college, they got Simpson a year earlier to intern in LA under Stafford and McVay.

In the end that seems to be advantageous since had Simpson gone back to school, he likley goes top 10 next year. Now he is in the building and learning the offense. Makes a lot of sense now doesn't it? Went all in this year using both "picks" on Garrett & McDuffie, and then still got your QB a year early so he is in the system and ready to hit the ground running next year if needed.

Let's get this thread back to what it was intended for. With OTA's beginning today, these are the three guys that intrigue me besides everyone's favorite RB Dean Connors.
  1. OLB Wesley Bailey....Watch him and I bet he can add a little juice putting pressure on the QB.
  2. OL Austin Blaske...He could be the Justin Dedich of this group. Graded out really well in pass pro plus has played all the positions along the offensive line.
  3. CB Al'zillion Hamilton...I still believe the Rams are going to sign L'Jarius Sneed, however, Hamilton is the fastest of the 3 CB's the Rams have brought in and I expect him to make the practice squad over others.
Wesley Bailey panning out would be HUGE for now and the future.

Looking at these films, I do not see a number 1 or number 2 receiver other than his hands and ability to get open especially on short yardage.

With that being said, I see him being a really good possession receiver. Plus he might be really good in the red zone.

And every team needs that.
He could be Demarcus Robinson 2.0, which makes him a great 6th rd pick.

So a decent backfill for DAdams (2025/2026 version) after this year?
