Saw this on NFL Access yesterday, Quinn and Austin bought this family a house that recently lost their home to a fire and was homeless. One of the boys was so happy because he never had his own bed until now. It is nice seeing a story about these players giving back to the less fortunate in the community. It is refreshing to see a good story when we seem to be constantly be bombarded with stories of arrests and substance abuse in the NFL. We need to hear about these things when players do them, it puts a good feeling in your heart.

I know this happens a lot more than we hear about but you couldn't be more right we as fans love to hear about things like this.

The idiot that handles the NFL's publicity is the biggest knucklehead ever.

If this was done by two other Rams, this thread gets 2 or 3 pages the first time it was posted.

But sadly, its about Quinn and Tavon.

Honestly, I think Tavons and Quinns decline in performance, their big contracts, the draft trade up to get Austin... those are some legitimate reasons for some people to complain.. but really, I think there are some people who really hate them for Quinns fist in the air and Tavons "hands up" thing with the other WRs...

Im sure some people hate them for those reasons, deep down.

Both have been classy pros and team first guys. Neither seeks the spotlight and both have been important to our success.
In a perfect world, both would be Rams next year with contracts that are appropriate. If one or both are gone, I get it and wont really question the decisions... but both guys are cool in my book and I like what each brings to our team.

Good on them. And I agree that these kinds of stories need more play by the NFL at large. These are selfless gestures. I get that and they shouldn't necessarily be exploited. But it wouldn't be bad for the NFL to at least showcase the good that some of the NFL players are doing and that some do on a regular basis. Cheers to Quinn, Austin, Hekker, and all the other players doing good that we don't hear about.

Good for Quinn and Tavon. Yeah, I don't exactly like the contracts, but it's not their fault they signed them, and this just proves that they're good people who help others.

I'm glad that they're part of the Rams.

Can't speak for anyone else.. but I'd say Quinn has improved his game dramatically in the past few weeks and Austin remains basically unproductive.

But none of that changes the fact that this geture on bothe their parts is remarkable.

Good men,there!

Not to me. I think they are old and pointless. It's not affecting the team.

Just because haters don't agree with the message, doesn't mean the players are bad people. If that's really a reason then the haters need put their pants on and move on. Again, not affecting the team.

Im sure some people hate them for those reasons, deep down.

Like I said above, they need to move the hell on.

Both have been classy pros and team first guys. Neither seeks the spotlight and both have been important to our success.

Damn skippy.

I didnt mean they were right. Just that if those are peoples reasons for disliking them, at least those are football reasons.
I have seen fans rip on both for non football reasons and its sad.

Truth is Fisher really messed up with thinking Tavon could be a number one WR.

Matt Mike Smith & Petrie we’re laughing there butts off last year about him. MxVay at least try’s him out at RB to see where his value is. Copper clearly beat him out as a return specialist.

Quinn has so much talent it gets frustrating. His game never really developed.Wade has asked him to do a couple things outside his box. I think right now he is back on top of his game. His back injury was a major set back.

Funny thing about Robert Quinn is I think he is a major country type of guy deep down. He can placket a huge wad of chew, even more than Jared Goff.Very impressive.

Jared has done so many interviews with A big dip in his mouth.I don’t know if Fisher was that cool with players dipping ?
Tavon has to go. He has no real value. Quinn still has elite pass rushing skills.

Both very high character guys. Still wonder how Tavon hurt his hand ?
Robert is very humble , but confident.

We should be very proud of this group of Rams players not just for their play on the field but most importantly for the people they are and how they care for their community.

There should be more of these stories in the mainstream media.
I mean A LOT more.
