Here are the choices:

Whiners
Hags
Cards
Bills
Raiders
Cowboys
Falcons
Panthers

We also play the Chargers at SoFi but they are technically the road team, so I doubt that will be considered.

This is a tough one.

I highly doubt it will be the 9ers, tempting though that must be for the NFL.

I just don't remember divisional games being played week one and it will mean, presumably, that the Cards have to play the Hags.

The Bills and Raiders make sense, but I'm gonna have to go with Dallas.

I just hope they don't take the fucking stadium over if that is the case.

In fact, I'd pass some bylaw that makes it a capital offense to sell your ticket to a Cowboy fan. Seriously, death is too good for those people.

I'll take Dallas, a heavy win and a total Skip meltdown resulting in him finally being admitted to an asylum by Tuesday the following week.

Buffalo Bills make sense, east coast vs west plus Von Miller, so IMHO, it will be the Buffalo Bills. IMO, Dallas is trending down with their current Head Coach as everyone is ready for the epic fail so Sean Peyton can take over in Dallas.

Is this just Home opener? Or week 1?

Week 1 - Broncos, Thursday night football
Home Opener - Cowgirls

I have a feeling that it'll be the Broncos. 49ers wouldn't surprise me either since we haven't had a week 1 divisional opponent since 2016 which was the 49ers. Different outcome would be nice though.

I should probably merge with this topic, but it doesn’t quite reach the level of castration.

:D

Dallas Cowboys......
Jerry is responsible for getting the Rams back to LA and he loves having his team on the big stage.
The Super Bowl Champion alway opens at home and since Jerrys team can't get to the big stage on their own he will make sure it is done by proxy.

Oops, sorry mate I didn't see that.

I also missed the Broncos because I counted 8 and forgot we now had 9 games at home every other year. Thanks @Reddog99

I'd say castrate me, the missus did that 26 fucking years ago, so she'd have to sew them back on first.

:thumbsup1:It is the off-season. Lets talk about what people want to talk about.

Cowboys

In the 20 years they've been opening on Thursday Night, 17 times it's involving teams from the same Conference, including 13 of the last 14. Outside of the 2019 opener (100th anniversary of the NFL; Green Bay @ Chicago), the World Champs have been the home team 16 of the last 18 years. Only 3 times in 20 have they been division opponents.

So.......if they stick to their 'formula'......home vs a non-division NFC opponent = Cowboys, Panthers or Falcons @ the Rams. And the best matchup for ratings would be Dallas.

i'm leaning bills...

it would be an epic opener...

i know the cowboys would be the choice for interest... but they were in last years opener...

they might shake it up this year...

go rams

slo

As I said earlier I'm going with Bills, cause mainly Von Miller for the Ring and Banner festivities. (At McSnead's request?)

Ok so I'm not putting my DNA rifle on a block as that sounds similar to a beheading hahaha, but I'll pick the Broncos. Think the Bills are the runner up but I imagine the schedulers want both teams more fine tuned before playing each other.

The Buccaneers (hate trying to remember how to spell them...two c's and two e's) played the Cowboys in last season's Thursday night opener. Bucs pulled out a win 31-29.

Seems weird if the Rams would play the Cowboys this coming opener, since they played the Bucs last year in the opener.

We don't play the Bucs at home this season and we didn't play them in the home opener last season, it was Chicago.

Other than that you....

I think you confused my analogy.

I was pointing out the Super Bowl Champs Bucs played the Cowboys in last year's home opener.

Therefore, I doubt the Cowboys will be the team to play the Super Bowl Champ Rams in this coming season opener, because they played in last year's. Make sense?

Sadly that does appear to be the best option—according to the formula.

Another formula is using a west coast team on Monday night because the nfl likes to open the season with a double header on the first Monday night.

Forget both formulas, bring on the raiders to open the season on Thursday night.
… and screw von miller and the bills. He can collect his ring in the mail.

Yep, us against den's homies.... Bills Mafia at SoFi.

As I recall the last time the Rams won the SB they opened the nfl season at home vs the Denver Broncos, wasn’t it Al Michaels, Dan Fouts & the debut of Dennis Miller

I actually liked that crew

With that being said, Bills or maybe history repeats itself and we get the Donks
