Great stuff. Puka's one of those guys you just want to root for. A perfect example of why you need people who know their stuff to analyze players in the draft. He had one of the lowest rated athletic scores at the combine. Ran an underwhelming 40 yard dash. Many people had him going much later in the draft than the 5th round. Just goes to show you want a guy who is a football player. All those things they do at the combine don't tell the whole story. Glad McVay was able to see what kind of player he could be.

.

My son is going to Vegas to watch the nrl opening games at allegiant stadium in a few days.

Now he's in LA and just went to the Lakers game. After the game he saw puka on the street and ran up to say hello and tell him he was a big fan. Puka greeted him warmly and gave him a bro handshake. Looks like a great guy.

Luckily my son was wearing a Rams hoodie so Puka knew he wasn't talking shit.
