Is anyone watching NFL Network? Before they go to the commercial they lead with "Manzel on the move and making things happen." He score one touchdown on a short field, and was completely outplayed by a superior team. I know we have to earn respect from the talking heads, but the love fest for Mr.Football and the utter lack of respect for our Rams is getting tiresome. It will make this regular season run we are about to make that much sweeter!!!!

I hear ya, but the amount of injuries we had this game makes me fear the regular season now.

Manziel is a punk
he has a lot better velocity on his throws than i thought. albeit against 2's and 3's , he actually didnt look bad other than his delay of game penalty that he accepted fault for. he only ran when necessary as well. still liked the 1st sack by michael sam when he did the money gesture.

Im actually not as worried, our #2's and #3's stepped it up this game. I was freaking out for a bit at first but after it set in and relaxed and watched more i didnt feel as bad. We havent had this kind of depth in a long time.

Manziel can play in the league, but the Browns have to go all in with him for it to work. They need faster, lighter linemen that can roll out and stay in front of him. They need a couple backs that are good at catching the ball but still can pass pro. He needs WR's that have a huge catch radius. Gordon fits that when he's eligible to play.
It's a big investment in personal and time to give him the tools he needs to succeed. And even then he's never going to be a top ten qb consistently.
Watching the game tonight tell me how much better he is than Gilbert ? And he got out played by a camp body like Davis.
He can be decent but he has to put in a lot of work.

I was actually very impressed with our second unit o line. They started out bad, but after a few snaps they seemed to settle in and give Davis quite a bit of time to make some plays.

I didn't watch all of his time on the field last night, but that one pass where they got Roberson for interference in the end zone was a wounded duck. That pass wobbled more than me after a few Makers Marks.
