- The Rams defeat Buffalo, 15-12, in their 11th meeting. Buffalo holds 6-5 advantage in the series. The Rams improve to a 6-6-1 record for the 2012 season.

- DT Michael Brockers split a sack on Buffalo QB Ryan Fitzpatrick on the first drive of the game. He tallied a solo sack on for a loss of six yards to push his season total to 4.0.

- Brockers forced a RB Fred Jackson fumble, which was recovered by LB James Laurinaitis and returned four yards. Marks Brockers’ first forced fumble and Laurinaits’ first fumble recovery of the season, third career. Marks the second consecutive game the Rams have recovered an opponent fumble.

- DT Kendall Langford split two sacks on Fitzpatrick to give him one sack on the day (earning .5 sacks on two plays), his first of the season. Langford’s last sack was at the New York Jets (12/12/10) as a member of the Miami Dolphins.

- DE Chris Long split a sack on Fitzpatrick. Marks Long’s 7.5 sack this year, and 38.5 career.

- DE Robert Quinn tallied a sack for a loss of nine yards. The sack gives Quinn 9.5 this season and 14.5 career.



- LB Jo-Lonn Dunbar intercepted Fitzpatrick with :21 second remaining in the game to seal the win for the Rams. The play marks Dunbar’s second career interception. His first came in the season opener at Detroit (9/9/12).

- The defense registered a team sack on Fitzpatrick for a loss of 12 yards. The Rams’ five sacks tie the unit’s second highest sack total of the season. Previously, the Rams tallied five sacks at San Francisco (11/11) and nine vs. Arizona (10/4).

- According to press box statistics, S Quintin Mikell and CB Cortland Finnegan split the team lead in tackles, each recording eight.

- The Rams defense limited the Bills’ fourth ranked rushing attack to just 16 yards in the first half, and just 61 yards total.

- RB Steven Jackson notched his third rushing touchdown of the season on 1-yard rush. Jackson now has 55 career rushing touchdowns. With one more rushing touchdown, he will tie Eric Dickerson (56) for second in franchise history. Marshall Faulk owns the record with 58 rushing touchdowns. Jackson tallied 64 yards on 19 carries.

- QB Sam Bradford threw for 209 yards and completed 19-of-39 passes with one touchdown. Bradford’s touchdown toss came late in the fourth quarter, giving him seven fourth quarter touchdowns this season.

- WR Brandon Gibson collected a team-leading six catches for 100 yards, including a 13-yard game-winning touchdown grab with :54 seconds left to play. Marks his first 100-yard performance of his career.

- WR/KR Chris Givens returned four kickoffs for 88 yards, a 22-yard average, including 28-yard long.

- P Johnny Hekker punted eight times for 302 yards, a 37.8-yard average and 32.3-yard net. Hekker placed two punts inside the 20-yard line and tallied a long of 50 yards.
