I don't even have to see the video, i remember the play. I was thinking "why is he ducking?"

It sickens me the Rams let this guy beat them twice last season. They had them both games and they let it slip through their hands. They better not let that happen this year.

Hmmm, we have a worse kicker than last year. We need to take the game off of Sloman's erratic foot and dominate on the field and the scoreboard. Blythe needs to learn how to pick up stunts. God Bosa vs Blythe? Goff needs to be rolling out and passing quickly.

Jimmy G isn't an elite QB regardless of what the media thinks. Just watching his poor throws against the Cards was proof of that. But their run attack is legit with a RB who is lightning fast (4.3) and can also catch. Believe it or not, if Staley doesn't leave the underneath totally undefended and does a better job of defending the flats to prevent rollouts the Ram D actually matches up well. Player mistakes and poor coaching is all that can derail this team this year with this schedule. Goff will need to ring up 30 on the scoreboard.

Regarding the apparent poor outside pass rush that's on Staley. He obviously stressed maintaining contain since he doesn't have Ebukam in the flats. So they couldn't simply cut loose. Staley hasn't seemed to figure out he has all kinds of safety help not just Johnson, Fuller, but Rapp and Burgess as well. If he's worried about contain than simply play a nickel and have a safety in the flats.

This also applies to Wentz and the need to keep him in the pocket. Turn the outside pass rushers loose and cover the flats with a 3rd safety with Kiser in the middle. IMO this team is built right now to play a nickel with 3 safeties as their base. Both Rapp and Fuller are good tacklers and can cover. Keep Brockers in the middle and sit swinging door Sebas. It's no coincidence that the middle was soft against the run against the Boys. A lot of those inside runs decreased whenever they pulled Sebas and moved Brockers into the middle. It's also where he was playing when he got his sack. Look Sebas is a great human being and for that I like and respect him. But as an NFL player on the d-line he simply lacks sand at the POA and his technique is still crap.

IMO Staley should:

DE Hollins
NT Brockers
DT AD
JACK Floyd

SAM Ebukam
MIKE Kiser

Plus 3 safeties since Staley insists on playing zone: Johnson, Rapp, Fuller

CBs: Ramsey & Long (Hill was getting toasted by the Boys, 6 targets 6 completions for 80 yards almost 30% of Daks yardage) Hill is a backup talent pretending to be a starter and he's got Staley fooled. Hill always looks good in practice because no one is running game speed. In games his lack of burst and long speed shows.

If Staley starts both Sebas and Hill it will keep the Eagles in the game and my estimation of Staley as a DC will drop. Staley said there was a lot to clean up. Well, it starts with him and his personnel choices. Who plays and how they play.

The announcers made it sound like he sorta double clutched, as if he lost the handle on the ball.

But, yeah... looked like he must have saw a flash of something.

I noticed in the rams game last season and in the super bowl that Jimmy closes his eyes as he throws the ball when pressured.
