I know many have no use for pff but it’s something to talk about. Pff ranks wr groups
6. 49ers
7. World champs
13. Hags
16. Cards

I’m not sure if anything else is taken into consideration like the qb or coach but I’d expect the rams to at least be in the top 5. Deebo’s a great player but Kupp was the triple crown winner SB mvp, but it’s fine, I’m expecting big things in Stafford’s 2nd year as well as Robinson’s 1st. Meanwhile is Lance the guy or not? Is Deebo happy with the offense? Are the Hags gonna run the wing t? Who’s bigger Hollywood or Kyler? So many questions.

I agree the Rams are top 5 with Robinson being added. But that upper group there's some really loaded receiver groups so the slotting will come down to third and fourth threats on each team's list.

Bengals at the top I have to agree with. Chase is ridiculous and should be better this year, he was a rook and they had protections issues that limited what he can do which is scary.

Saints are too low. Olave should be a good addition year one and that's on top of Thomas and Landry. Winston might lose his mind at times but he's got some balls to him. They're going to put up good numbers this year, should be in that top ten IMO.

Vikings are better than listed too. PFF is all over Theilen's age at 32 years old and their metric doesn't contain common sense to tell them he will bounce back. How do I know? They're installing the Rams offense and he can still separate due to his route technique. If he's healthy from that ankle that bothered him last season they're going to have a nice passing game.

Between their coach rankings putting McVay at #7 (and behind Kliff Kingsbury) and this, putting the Rams WR corps behind the 49ers (don't smoke crack!), PFF is really making a concerted effort to look dumb. The 9ers should be 4th on that list, not first, and I'm not saying that just because I hate them, because the other teams are also Rams division rivals.

The Rams are going to get the most out of Robinson.. they have 2 true #1 WRs and their #3 is suited very well for that roll.

If it's obj Robinson and Kupp. I'd say #1 or #2. Obviously it would have to be a healthy obj but common who's better?

Honestly it’s taken a while for PFF to dial in their ranking scores and I considered them shit for many years. Now they got it down pretty well.

As far as those coaches rankings they are back to the beginnings of how their rankings were. Probably some butt hurt Seagulls/Whiner fan in charge of those rankings.

Honestly I think right now we are probably 3-4 ranking for our WR group and when/if we sign a healthy OBJ we are for sure a 1-2 WR group.

They put the Rams rbs at Like 30, they weren’t good but were they that bad?

Yeah, makes you wonder how the Rams could have won the Super Bowl with so many areas of the team being as low-ranked as PFF gives them. I get that RB was definitely not a position of strength last year, but it wasn't totally terrible either. Michel had a good little streak going in the second half of the season.

Even going off last year ... Kupp was miles better than any WR on the 49ers. Their best guy has to be gimmicked into the backfield to get the most out of him. Whether you consider the first half of the season with Woods or the 2nd half of the season with OBJ, our 2nd guy is definitely better than their 2nd guy, and Jefferson is better than their 3rd guy.

For that matter, Metcalf and Lockett are better pure WRs than anyone on SF, and DeAndre Hopkins is as well.

How many GMs would trade our WR corps for SF's? Or Seattle's for theirs? Not many, and the ones who would are stupid.

Those rankings are absolute dogshit.

You’re severely underrating Deebo as a WR.

I don’t think I have ever seen him run more than a 5 yard pattern.
That’s not true. He ran a 10 yard slant then 6 feet under pattern against the Rams in the conference championship. With Scott throwing the dirt on his coffin.

Then you haven't watched any Rams/9ers games.

Yeah.. he does a lot of short stuff.. that he turns into long stuff.
But he gets downfield just fine. Remember who his QB is and who his OC is.

Kupp, Robinson, Jefferson are as goid as any receiving trio in football. Maybe better when you consider just how good Kupp is. He's better than Chase. He's as good as Deebo if not better. PFFs rankings suck dog dicks.

I can understand the case that some other WR could be #1… but there’s no one I’d rather have.

I also think they don’t factor in what Kupp does off the field before the game starts.

Yeah no doubt. Assuming Odell is the same guy upon return, that he's fully back, what you have there is an All Time level WR corps, in that type of range. Because Kupp's elite and Robinson is probably going to be elite in this offense too.

That's the kind of passing trio that you don't stop. You pray you can get to the QB quick.
